Callie 2-13-09

Welcome to Callie's website. First we want to thank everyone for their love and support throughout the last two weeks. This time has been extremely difficult for all three of us, but it helps knowing that you are all behind us. We thought that this website would be a nice way to update everyone daily on our little girl, Caelyn May "Callie". So check in from time to time and please keep the prayers and positive energy coming our way!

Callie was born, via emergency c-section, on February 13th at 9:56pm. She weighed in at 1lb 5.3 onces and was 11 3/4 inches long. So far she has proven to everyone that she is a fighter. They didn't expect her to make it through the first night, but she did and continues to battle every challange that comes her way. She has a long journey ahead of her, but we hope and pray that with God's love and support she will make it through.

  1. Marci and Lee,

Congratulations on bringing this little fighter into the world! We've been thinking about you every day, all day, and sending our love, prayers and positive thoughts your way.

We can't wait for the chance to meet Callie in person. Until then, seeing your posts and seeing her photos here will help us feel close to her even though we are hundreds of miles away.

Have faith in how powerful your love can be.

    We love you Callie May.

    Love,
    Kim and Jack

  2. I showed this picture of Callie to Jack and he said "she's brave...braver than me." That said by a 5 year old who has very little fear of anything (as you know).

"The Lord never gives you more than you can handle". Our prayers are with Callie, you and Lee. Your little princess will have a great story to tell when she is all grown up.

  6. We have been thinking of you three, and praying for our little Callie! She is a little fighter. The power of a mother and father's love is more powerful than we sometime give credit to. Can't wait to meet Callie in person, in the meantime, we will cherish our little one through the blog.

    All our love and prayers.

  10. Marci and Lee,

It is said that "Babies are Angels sent from Heaven." May the Lord watch over Callie and give her the strength to survive and one day soon the warmth of your arms. Our thoughts and prayers are with your new family.
