Back at St. Joe's

We are finally settling back in to St. Joe's. Callie did great on her transfer...impressing everyone, as usual! Yesterday afternoon and this morning were a little challenging with trying to manage her pain. But it appears that they have figured it out now and she was finally able to rest this afternoon. Now that we have her PDA under control, the next issue we have to face is PIE in her lungs and the IVH bleeding that occured in her head. We will update you on these issues in more detail later. For the next few days, we are just hoping that Callie can take it easy and regain her strength after surgery.

  2. Another day of healing and growing...good for her. Let's pray that God is continuing to bless Callie with healing and resilience and that the other medical conditions are "fixable" also.

God, you have blessed Callie, Marci and Lee with such determination and strength. Please give them the will to continue this journey as Callie grows and mends. God bless the doctors that they may continue to provide the best care for Callie and have the knowledge needed to address these latest concerns. And bless Callie with peaceful rest and comfort, that she might be pain free from here on out. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

  3. We're so happy to hear that the surgery went well and Callie's back to home base to the doctors and nurses that have taken such terrific care of her. Rest up little girl.
Congratulations on another good day Marci and Lee.
