Thank You

We wanted to take a moment to thank you all for all your continued love, support and prayers throughout this journey. It is so nice to look on here at the end of the day and see your encouraging messages for us and our little girl. It truly helps to know we have so much positive energy behind us.

This picture is of Callie trying to get away during her first bath this weekend! It was the first time we saw her without all of her tubes and leads.

  7. Good Morning,
This is Lora, (Baby Matthew's Nonna)
I just signed up to follow the progrees of your little angel, I miss seeing Matthew and Callie (spelling?). I will keep her in my prayers with him, praying for strong little bodies, and getting better with each passing day. I can't wait to see the blog where she finally goes HOME!!!!!!!!! I will check each day, and here is my e-mail address just in case, I know you are very busy, so I really don't expect and e-mail. I will keep in touch, and know that we are prying for little Callie. Have a great visit with her today, I know you won't get this until later tonight, if even then, she is such a sweet precious little girl, and such a fighter, I can only hope Matthew follows her strenght, he is doing well from what I hear right now. Talk soon, take care.

  12. That's a terrific picture of one unhappy little girl. I'm hearing, "No, I don't want to take a bath!!!" Thanks for the constant updates Marci and Lee. Its part of Delyza's and my daily routine - checking on how Callie's doing every night. Lots of love to all three of you.

  14. What a thrill to sign on the last two days and see such amazing, yet normal, steps of progress for Callie! First, finding her thumb, and then, getting upset about her first bath ... She is so inspirational, reminding us all every day to be grateful for what we all too often take for granted. We think of the three of you constantly, and continue to pray for Callie's growth. We know that each day gets your family that much closer to going home together!

  15. I just read all of the comments and it is impressive to read all of the words from Callie's fan club. She is indeed an inspiration. Watching her grow and climb each hurdle has been an amazing privilege. I am so happy so much has gone right. As always, God's peace and blessings to all three of you. I will keep you in my prayers.

  17. Dear Callie,
I didn't like my first few baths either. Now, I love them! You will too when you have lots of bubbles and water to splash onto your parents! My mommy got a big smile and happy tears when she saw your picture without your tubes. She knows that means you're getting REALLY healthy! Good luck!
    Love,
    Your Florida friend,

  20. Hi Marcy and Lee,

I just talked to your Grandma today and found out about baby Callie. She is adorable!
She reminds me of when we first saw John in the hospital, he was tiny too! About 3.5 pounds. So, in the long run i know everything will be okay. We will keep you all in our prayers.
Looking forward to seeing Callie grow more and more!

    Love, Judy and Carl
