Pumpkin Patch!

This weekend Callie had her first trip to the Pumpkin Patch! It was really nice to get out of the house in an open air environment. We are so restricted right now and will be until spring and this aweful flu season is over, so this was a nice break before the weather gets bad. Callie had a great time checking out all of the new sights. She particulary loved the hayride!

The other big event of the weekend was that Callie rolled over all by herself. Up until now, she had rolled several times if we positioned her right. Saturday she did it all by herself!! This was a big milestone for her adjusted age. Callie's Infants and Toddlers teacher had made two goals for her to try and meet by her appointment on Monday, to roll over and reach for her toys-our little superstar did both this weekend!

  2. What a terrific family event - going to the pumpkin patch for the first time. You got some great pictures, too. Congrats on the rolling, Callie. Gabriel still has NOT to this day rolled over, so you're ahead of him. He's crawling and pulling himself up on things, but dude is totally stuck if you put him on his back. He's like a turtle. Callie will be mobile before you realize it, and then watch out. So happy to see how well Callie is doing and the progress she continues to make.

  3. No doubt who her parents are - just set goals for her and watch her meet 'em before deadline! It's looks like you all had fun at the pumpkin patch, which is awesome.

  5. Great work Callie!!!! Ailyn has the same goal to make with reaching for her toys...we work very hard at it!!

LOVE the pumpkin patch pics! It must have been so nice getting her out of the house. As we have said before, spring can't come soon enough! We get our RSV and flu shot next week, I will breathe a little easier knowing she has them.

Keep up the amazing work Callie!

  6. It looks like Callie enjoys pumpkins as much as her cousin Jack. Halloween is his favorite holiday!

Is Callie dressing up for Halloween?
