15 Pounds!!

Callie passed the 15 pound mark-10 times her birth weight!! Such a big girl!! She has had a great week! Now that she figured out how to roll...she is doing it all of the time! We included a short video clip so that you can see her in action! We are continuing to work on getting her to like her cereal. We switched to Oatmeal, which seems to help a little, but she still prefers her Mama's milk! She always ends up with more on her face than in her mouth! From the picture above, you can see that it tired her right out!! She is also showing her personality more and more. She is more active and knows how to get what she wants! She is SO much fun!

  1. Callie, it is so exciting that you are rolling over so much now! Before we know it you are going to be crawling and everything!

  6. So cute! Love the video of the rolling over. those are some highly kissable cheeks, too. I'm sure she's not lacking in that department. Great news again! Thanks!

  7. Wow, Callie you are doing super and so glad to hear how much fun mom & dad are now. Keep going strong little angel and sure hope you remain healthy throughout the winter.
Marci it's amazing what a little 10 second video can do to let others see how well Callie is doing. Thanks so much for sharing.

  8. We may have to have a chubby cheek contest when we finally get the girls together, it may be close!

Her rolling over made me laugh because she obviously understands what you want her to do and then she just kind of threw herself like "okay fine I'll do it again". Yay Callie!!! Keep working on the oatmeal, it will be like everything else Preemie, sooner or later she'll just "get it".

  9. Thank you for continuing to share Callie's progress with all of us. It's great to see how far she's come in what now seems just a few short months! Who would have thought that a little angel weighing 1 1/2 pounds could have such beautiful chubby cheeks at 8 months old?!?!
