Feeder and Grower

It has been a pretty quiet week here at St. Joe's. They have officially labeled Callie as a "feeder and grower!" We used to look at the feeders and growers in envy, and now Callie is one of them!! It is just nice for her to have a less critical status!

Callie had a minor setback this week. After an eventful weekend with many changes, she just decided she had had enough. They had increased her feeding volume and she was trying to take them all by bottle and she was just getting really tired. So they have taken her back to every other feed by bottle and she is doing great with that. Her doctor says that he will try her again at every feed soon. But until then, they are happy because she is gaining weight and doing well with the bottles she takes.

  1. Callie,

It is so amazing that you are now considered a feeder and grower! You have already come so far and soon you will be taking all of your meals from a bottle! Keep it up little one!

  7. My goodness! This is wonderful news. Give Callie a high five from us for all of her great progress. She's a super-baby! Make sure you put a little purple Ravens cape on her as soon as you get home. : ) Great job Marci and Lee.

  16. I have to post again to share something with you. Our oldest (and first, obviously) has just looked at Callie's blog for the first time. And of course I had to take a trip down memory lane with her. To watch Erin's face as she looked at where Callie began and that amazing "grower and feeder" picture above was priceless. I know you guys know how far she has come. The fact that it is documented will be an amazing gift to your little girl later on. I can't tell you how happy I am for all three of you. God is good and He has certainly shown all of you his amazing grace!
